Special Education Teacher -HS Science

Safe Haven School is seeking a Special Education Teachers, to teach High School Science.
Safe Haven School is a private therapeutic day school that serves students with average to above-average ability levels.
Students suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, self-injury, and/or work or school refusal and do not present as physically or verbally aggressive.
This position will also entail case management of up to ten students.
Candidates must be able to effectively collaborate with paraprofessionals, social workers, and other teachers, communicate with families, collect data, develop IEPs, write academic progress reports, create and implement lesson plans, and creatively problem solve.

in special education and have an Illinois Professional Education License with Special Education endorsement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
